Â鶹ÊÓƵ Community College Leads State with Highest Enrollment Increase Among Public Colleges and Universities
On the heels of achieving the highest percentage enrollment increase among all Oklahoma public colleges and universities this Fall, Â鶹ÊÓƵ Community College is now welcoming students to register for its upcoming Spring and Summer semesters. The college's impressive growth signals a rising demand for its diverse academic offerings and underscores its commitment to accessible, quality education.
"We are thrilled to build on the momentum of our incredible Fall semester," said Â鶹ÊÓƵ President Jena Marr. "Our growth is a testament to the quality education and supportive environment we provide to our students. We look forward to welcoming even more learners to our campus community in the coming semesters."
The college attributes its recent success to several factors, including the expansion of its degree programs and innovative partnerships. "We've responded to industry demands and student interests by introducing cutting-edge programs in fields like cybersecurity and drone technology," explained Annie Pearson, Vice President for Academic Affairs. "These new offerings, combined with our established programs, provide students with a wide array of career-focused educational paths."
In addition to new degree programs, Â鶹ÊÓƵ has forged partnerships with career technology centers. This collaboration allows students to combine block credit in certain technical areas with general education courses at Â鶹ÊÓƵ to earn an associate degree, creating a seamless pathway for students to advance their education and career prospects.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ is also currently accepting applications for its highly sought-after nursing programs. The LPN-to-RN program, which begins in January, is accepting applications until December 1. For those interested in the general nursing program, applications will open January 1, with a priority deadline of March 15. Prospective nursing students are encouraged to submit their applications early, as these programs are in high demand.
"We're committed to providing accessible, high-quality education that prepares our students for success in their chosen fields," Marr added. "Our enrollment increase demonstrates that more students are recognizing the value of a Â鶹ÊÓƵ education."
Students interested in enrolling can visit the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Community College website at www.redlandscc.edu or contact the admissions office at Admissions@redlandscc.edu or 405.422.1417 for more information.
